I don’t know what the good people at DC have in store for Batman #20, but THIS is the team-up the fans have been waiting for since the beginning of the New 52: Damian Wayne, Colin Wilkes, Katana AND Tim Drake! Would you believe it?! It’s like a fandom’s dream come true.

It seems that Dustin Nguyen is determined to give the fans everything that has been lacking since the reboot, or at least since Batman Incorporated #8. And we should be very grateful for that.

It also appears to me that Li’l Gotham #10 has a more realistic storyline than the previous issues, thus making up for the stories that can no longer be told after Damian’s death in the New 52 universe.

There is even some actual development going on: Colin has his own garage now in the hideout Damian gave him, and Red Robin seems to have become Nightwing’s sidekick, if I understood Barbara correctly. 

In other words: Li’l Gotham is going where The New 52 should have progressed. Wouldn’t it be an option to create a new comic line based on the  pre-reboot universe of Li’l Gotham, but with non-chibi characters and serious storylines? I’d most certainly subscribe.

When I posted my drawing about the Robins, I read some people talking about Tim and realized he really seemed to be alone  D: So there’s a thing for cheer up the poor boy.

Okay, so I’m the last person to complain that writers shouldn’t kill a character off, and I don’t think that Robins should be invulnerable to death just because one’s already died before. Death is a part of life, its a part of fiction, and if characters can’t die…
